Being in my 3rd year of university has got my mind racing on my future. I’ve always loved to write, eat and travel and what better way of spending the remaining time at university combining all three?
I employed help of my flatmate/best pal to help me out and together we have created what can only be described as “the best budget travel and recipe blog you’ll ever lay eyes on”. (Some bias may have been incorporated).
But anyway you get my point. It’s good and I’m incredibly proud of it.
The idea for this blog (as well as my unadulterated love towards food and travel) came about when my my mum – who lives off a low budget – asked me for recipe ideas. She knew Maddie and I lived off the basics (being students and all) yet we managed to use a little creativity to diversify the traditional bulk meals.
So I thought to myself, if my mum is coming to me for ideas, who else on a low-budget is stuck in this monotonous cycle of food hell?
I set myself a challenge for this year, get as many people cooking creatively as possible and hopefully save them some pennies in the process.
To help you get a glimpse of what we write about, here are a few of our latest posts:
Blog posts lined up for the coming weeks include: Vegan Brownies, the most gooey Eggless Brownies you’ve tasted, Vegetable Lasange and our trip to Copenhagen.
And not to mention, future travel posts include: Poland and Belgium..ON A BUDGET!
If this doesn’t get your mouth watering for more, I don’t know what will.
I would love for you guys to help me succeed and join our journey with us.
We are just your average students, hoping to make a little difference.
