Situated on Port Vell, Barcelona Aquarium is a must for any enthusiast of the ocean or anyone with a family. The sea life is amazing with fish you wouldn’t be able to see in British aquariums. As a teenage girl who wanted to be a marine biologist this visit made me remember why, it truly was wonderful. Taking time out of the heat to enjoy looking at the deep underwater world is relaxing and rejuvenating especially after walking the long distance of La Rambla dipping in and out of its surrounding heritage.
The only minus about this visit was the price of €20 however this is pretty average for aquariums across the country. There is discount for students and is free for anyone below a certain height which obviously applies mainly to children.
